Peasant Hero (1.0) - Adventurer Class

Often known as: militia, peasant fighters, and foot soldiers. This class is seen in every culture to various degrees. Due to their upbringing around farming tools and implements they know how to use a wide range of weapons and are even experienced at hunting.

Playing the Peasant Hero

If you want a character that has access to a wide range of weapons but wears little or no armor this is the class for you. This class is based on the classic “farm boy” archetype that is a young and naïve soul is forced to learn about the wide world. We do not usually have the more exotic LARP weapons that this class can use as loaners, so you will be responsible for coming up with your own.

Armor Allowed:  none*

Weapons Allowed:  Knife, Dagger, Stick, Club, Pitchfork, One handed ax, Two handed ax, One Handed Spear, Short Sword, Two handed hammer, One Handed Hammer, Sythe, Sickle, Bow and Arrow (3 shots per day).

  • Farmboy: Pick one weapon specific weapon, this refers to the particular weapon With this weapon type you get a +1 with that weapon’s damage. This represents a gifted weapon that you have held for a long time, maybe from a mentor or parent. You have trained with it and have achieved great skill. This is related to your activity on the farm, your “lucky bow and arrow for hunting” or “your best wood cutting ax” etc. If you lose this weapon you must spend an entire event to regain the bonus.  You can alter, update, and enchant this weapon.

  • Increased Healing: Any time you are healed, the amount is doubled. Due to your robust health, hard life, and history of working the fields.

  • Dexterous Movement: The player is considered to be wearing level 1 armor. This is due to quick movement and dodging ability. This also stacks with/adds to pre-existing armor.
