Raider (1.2) Adventurer Class
Also known as Reavers, Skirmishers, or Light Infantry, these warriors are often the skirge of an area. Sometimes seen in Reman auxiliary units, Norse raiding vessels, Greek quick attack units, or Orc war bands. They are as quick as they are deadly.
Playing the Raider
The Raider class does well in combat when fighting alongside a group, especially with other Raiders. This character class only wears light armor, if any, and has a selection of small and light weapons to choose from. If you want a martial class that is fast moving and wears little or no armor this is the class for you!
Abilities
Armor Allowed: Level 1
Weapons Allowed: Knife, Dagger, Stick, Club, One Handed Ax, Short Sword, Throwing Ax (3/day)
Abilities

-
Small Shield Use: may use small round shields or bucklers

Hoard Attack: For every Raider in a group past the first one grants a +1 weapon damage to each other raider (for example, if there are 2 Raiders in a group, each one grants the other +1 weapon damage. If there are 3 Raiders each one grants the other +2 HP). There is no limit to the number of Raiders that can be in a party. You do need to adhere to the party size limit of no more than five (5) players in a party total. This ability is “always on”.
-
Fast Battlefield Movement: Before the start of any battle the player may position themselves anywhere on the battlefield. The closest that they may get to the opposition’s battle line is at the max weapons range. This is normally a battlefield ability and will NOT be applied in quest. This may possibly change in certain situations depending on the judgment of the local Lore Master or Guard.
