About the event

Chaos reigns in the Dwarven Kingdom - the Norse Jarl has opened up his Hall to the various Dwarven Clans in the hopes of finding a new King. Trade routes need reestablished and the gold needs to flow. The Great Forge has lain cold for far too long.

In the great war of "Breaking of the Wall" the forces of the South invaded the plains and coastal cities, towns, and villages. During this time, the Dwarves of the Northern Mountains did not set idly by. Good and brave King Martok, accompanied by his son Volstag, rode out to join the armies of the good and righteous to turn back the tide of evil from the South.  In the glorious battle to break the siege of Thazia, good King Martok lost his life.  After the war, his son Volstag took the throne - ending after just a few turns of the Red Moon, when King Volstag was deposed while away on a crusade to the East.

Now the Dwarven kingdom is in chaos as they are attemping to appoint a new ruler. There are even rumors of a new clan of dwarves wanting to put their beards into the forge.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gates open at 5:00 PM on Friday, and close at 2:00 PM on Sunday.

You can day trip or stay the entire weekend. If you stay the weekend camping is free.

There is a bunk house with bunks but those will be reserved for people with special needs.

We will be setting up the site into two seperate "towns", at the top of the thill will be the Norse town that will house the feast, bunk houses, kitchen, and tent camping.  This will be the quiet area for camping.

The bottom of the hill will host the Emerald Folk town, camping, battles, possibly archery and thrown weapons, most questing, merchants, and food vendors.  This will be the "not quiet" part for overnight camping.

For the feast on Saturday you can walk up to the top of the hill for the feast, but we will also try to have a "shuttle wagon".

There are some portapotty type facilities at the top of the hill, but the shower houses (with electric, showers, and toilets) are at the bottom of the hill.

We have several camping areas throughout the property.

There is no WiFi and cell reception is spotty at best.  Please bring cash for your shopping needs.

We will be doing the role playing of the Dwarven Factions and their allies, and enemies, during the Saturday evening feast. Please let us know if you will be attenidng feast (and eating) when you purchase your ticket.  If you want to take part in the role playing, but not eat at the feast that is fine also, but please let us know.

We are also looking for volunteer positions.  Volunteers will recieve in game gold for their services.
