Sacred Weapon - Royalty Perk from Royalty System
Item Type: Two-Handed Greatsword (60 in. max length, Base Damage: 4).
Weapon Traits: Can Half-Sword; can Grapple weapons and shields (if the wielder is wearing gloves).
Household Perk: Sacred Weapon (Clan Gren).
Background: Forged and traded within the sovereign city-state of Tiss, this greatsword fuses the heavy metallurgy of Clan Gren with infernal fire and the primal infernal conduits of the island.
Ability: Ruby Flame Cleave
Activation: Upon verbal command, the blade ignites with a blazing, supernatural ruby-red fire that crackles along the fuller. Once activated it lasts until the end of the next successful strike. After the ability is effectively used once then it is gone until it renews.
Effect: Once per day, if a melee strike with the great sword lands a killing blow (reducing a target opponent to 0 HP), the wielder may immediately carry any remaining damage over to an adjacent enemy in melee range without making a second physical swing.
Combat Callout: The wielder must loudly call out “Cleave”
Usage Limit: 1 time per day (1x/day). Once activated it lasts until the end of the next successful strike. After the ability is effectively used once then it is gone until it renews.
Renewal: Can be renewed between encounters by visiting a Temple/Lex-Sanctum of Asmodeus, a Forge/Smithy, a Volcano/Geothermal Vent, or by direct exposure to a Dragon's fire breath.
Blood Binding: Although anyone may pick up and even wield Khar-Gehûl, only members of House Gren can activate its abilities.

Forged in the stark, architectural foundry-vaults of the sovereign city-state of Tiss, Khar-Gehûl is a massive, two-handed greatsword standing at the length of five feet (60 inches). The weapon represents a severe and striking fusion of ancient dwarven stonemason metallurgy and the precise, dark clockwork geometry of Tissan craft.
Khar-Gehûl is an imposing two-handed greatsword featuring a wave-edged, serpentine flamberge blade forged in gunmetal steel with smoldering charcoal-black recesses, a design that mimics tongues of flame to visually embody its Ruby Flame Cleave power. Directly above the hilt, an extended, matte-black sleeve is flanked by forward-curving secondary parrying hooks (Parierhaken), providing a dedicated reinforced grip for half-swording maneuvers and for trapping enemy blades or shields in close-quarters combat. The weapon's furniture is crafted from darkened industrial iron accented with subtle bronze and brass rings that reflect refined Tissan craftsmanship, complete with an arched cross guard terminating in flared claws and protective side rings. Anchoring the blade is a long handle wrapped in ribbed, non-slip black leather built for two-handed leverage, perfectly counterbalanced by a flared, fluted iron pommel.
