Orcs (1.2)

Three centuries ago, Orcs began flooding into the Dawn Lands, following the Catfolk through one of the few remaining active portals. While whispers persist of ancient Orc tribes in the eastern regions, no contact has been made. Orcish society is generally clan-based, with anointed chieftains leading their people. They commonly patrol and scout the continent, seeking locations to settle, fortify, and launch raids. However, after several generations on Shiandria, some Orcs have begun to break away from their clans, seeking independent lives or integration into other societies.

Restricted Classes: Crossbowman, Youxia, Hoplite, Plague Doctor, Hexenkrieger, Samurai

Religion: The Orcs have their own pantheon.

Abilities:

Level 1

  • Orc Toughness: You receive +2 maximum HP (to a total of 7 HP).

  • Orc Weapon Training: You can use two-handed axes and one-handed axes. If your class already allows for this then you receive an additional +1 on damage.

Level 3

  • Improved Orc Weapon Training: You receive an additional +1 damage with two-handed axe strikes.

Level 6

  • Improved Orc Toughness: Your maximum HP bonus improves to +3 (to a total of 8 HP).

Level 9

  • Orc Rage: You become immune to damage from any opponent for five weapon strikes (this includes melee and ranged weapons). This ability can be used on multiple opponents. You could ignore one strike from five opponents or five strikes from one opponent, or any combination thereof. Once this ability starts, it must all be used at once. This ability does not ignore spells, but does ignore armor-negating abilities such as the Battle Monk’s throwing stars. This ability can be used once per day (1x/day) and cannot be renewed.
