This XP Challenge demands both dedication and skill. This challenge tests your structural ingenuity and creative flair in a fun, hands-on, and delicious way!
🎉 REWARD UPON COMPLETION: 1 XP
1. The Challenge Mandate (The Build)
Create an edible architectural model representing any structure from the Dawn Lands: a house, castle, fort, dungeon, or even a cozy hobbit-hole. This project encourages teamwork and creativity outside of the normal combat rules.
A. Approved Materials (The Edible Rule)
The model must be constructed primarily from baked goods or edible, bakery-adjacent materials.
Acceptable: Gingerbread, rice crispy treats, graham crackers, sugar cookies, pretzels, and various candies and icing for construction and decoration.
Restrictions: No meat, and avoid using ice except sparingly for decorative accents (e.g., small icicles).
B. Physical Constraints (The Engineering Test)
Constraint | Requirement |
Base Size | Maximum of 24 inches x 24 inches (Maximum size for the footprint). No minimum size. |
Height | Up to the creator’s ambition! |
Stability Test | The finished structure must be able to stand on its own for a minimum of 10 consecutive minutes before submission. |
2. Submission and Voting
To complete the challenge and receive your 1 XP, you must post visual evidence of your structure.
A. Submission Protocol
Participants must post clear pictures and/or a video of their completed model on the designated Discord channel.
B. General Populace Voting
The community will vote on all submissions in two distinct categories to determine the winners:
Best Looking (Aesthetics): Judged on creativity, decoration, and visual appeal.
Best Architecture (Structural Integrity): Judged on the complexity, scale, and engineering of the design.
3. Prizes (For Category Winners)
The winner of each category (Best Looking and Best Architecture) will receive their choice of a complete set of high-quality, LARP-appropriate feast gear:
Winner's Prize: you can pick I item from the set of Feast Gear (listed below), or a Cross Body Pilgrim's Bag.
