Dawn Lands LARP: The NPC Mastery Challenge

The most critical roles in the Dawn Lands LARP often belong to the Non-Player Characters (NPCs). They are the guards, monsters, merchants, spies, and civilians who bring the world to life. This challenge is for players interested in learning how to effectively embody these roles, provide dynamic combat, and drive the overarching narrative.

We will cover role-playing non-player characters, acting out temporary combat roles, and enhancing player immersion. The rules for being an NPC. The administrative side of being an NPC. The questing side of being an NPC. A special topic will be how a real world merchant differs from being an NPC.

Open to everyone, even if you do not plan on playing an NPC.

We will be holding this in two virtual meetings scheduled throughout December 2025 and January 2026. Each meeting will cover the same topics, but we will do two so that people have a chance to attend one if they miss the other. You may attend both for XP if you like. For each meeting you attend you will gain 1 XP, if you stay until the end of the meeting, camera turned on.  This will be held on either Facebook virtual meets or Google Meets. We will supply an online sign up form.
